This weekend, my sweet husband and I had the privilege of attending one of my dearest childhood friends wedding.
Fall absolutely calls for the best fashion! I love that this season makes it acceptable to throw a bunch of layers together, there really are no rules for fall !
I also ended up chopping off of some of my hair ! I had to get all of the rest of the blonde out, the dead ends were just unmanageable! It was hard to part with, but I think I like this length a lot! My hair grows pretty fast, so I’m excited to start fresh!

This weekend, my lovely sister Taylor and I had the privilege of working with our dear friend, Beth Keener. She is an artist, designer and the best part is that she is an amazing woman of God. Her talent is incredible and I am so grateful to have been able to work with her to model one, of her many very own handmade clutches! Below are some of the shots of her new fall line of handmade clutches which will SOON be available on her website, you wont want to miss it!
Yesterday I let my lovely sister play around with my makeup. She did light shadow with falsies , cranberry lipstick, foundation and bronzer of course !
In the future, we will be doing a lot of before and after pictures and more in depth descriptions of how we achieve certain looks. We are looking to begin posting videos as well.
I recommend these stretchy little skirts to all of you out there, especially black or really any funky color, they are so easy to either wear high waisted or at mid length. I have a ton of cropped tops and can mix the shirts with any of these and come up with some pretty/ funky cute outfits ! Super simple if you don’t have a lot of time to plan out an outfit.
As for my hair, I did not use any shampoo while in the shower, the longer I go without washing my hair, the better it lays! I use a leave in conditioner and Garnier miracle oil, and it truly is a miracle! I believe I have a post from months back about this particular product ! It is the only product that I have ever found that keeps my hair from frizzing!
Hope you enjoy and are looking forward to future posts/ videos. Comment below if this is something that you would like to see in the future!
Yesterday, I attended my very first tea party. First, I was a little nervous because I had no idea what people wear to such things! But I thought a little chiffon and lace would never hurt. It was very hot yesterday so that’s all that was perfect , light and very breezy. My outfit is from Charlotte Russe and I believe I bought it about a year back . The shoes I borrowed from my mother-in-law and we got the garden hat from a yard sale for I believe two dollars! I love yard sales. But AnyWho, I did pretty simple, light make up. I used some light browns , Skipped the eyeliner (which I never tend to wear anymore) Applied my falsies, and made sure that my contouring was bold. I think that falsies and nice contouring really does make or break your makeup, or at least, it is what stands out the most. I decided to embrace my natural curls and go for a very nude lipstick. I had a lot of fun with this look. Super easy, lightweight and comfortable! The tea party was an absolute success!
When I arrived, I had my own little place setting with my own name card!
Not to mention, the food was outstanding!
I’m very happy and blessed that I got to spend the day with some of God’s girls whom I love dearly!
So considering on most social networks it is popular to post a ” throwback picture” My throwback goes to this photo of myself with lavender hair! This was such a fun look and yes, it appears drastic, but wasn’t permanent. What was the trick? Hair pieces! I had a quite a few strands that were lavender but I am a huge fan of hair pieces. I am a future cosmetologist, what do people expect? (;
I highly suggest hair pieces, if you’re interested in a color but don’t want to completely fry your hair! I know for a fact, if I had actually dyed my whole head lavender that my hair would’ve either felt like hay, or fallen out. There it is, now you know my secret:)
Absolutely and totally in LOVE with this 1970’s Ivory sequined dress! This is the first time I have even tried it on and I am just obsessed!
The rhinestones and sequins are just the loveliest!

To complete this look I went for a simple cat eye, and more defined and arched brows. I didn’t want to take away from the dress so I did a simple wave to my hair, and thought merlot lipstick would be the perfect finishing touch! I am wearing nude colored tights, and vintage ivory and gold mini heels.
