Fun in the Sun 🌞

Yesterday I let my lovely sister play around with my makeup. She did light shadow with falsies , cranberry lipstick, foundation and bronzer of course !

In the future, we will be doing a lot of before and after pictures and more in depth descriptions of how we achieve certain looks. We are looking to begin posting videos as well.

I recommend these stretchy little skirts to all of you out there, especially black or really any funky color, they are so easy to either wear high waisted or at mid length. I have a ton of cropped tops and can mix the shirts with any of these and come up with some pretty/ funky cute outfits ! Super simple if you don’t have a lot of time to plan out an outfit.

As for my hair, I did not use any shampoo while in the shower, the longer I go without washing my hair, the better it lays! I use a leave in conditioner and Garnier miracle oil, and it truly is a miracle! I believe I have a post from months back about this particular product ! It is the only product that I have ever found that keeps my hair from frizzing!

Hope you enjoy and are looking forward to future posts/ videos. Comment below if this is something that you would like to see in the future!

Makeup of the day

A little makeup of the day!
I used Jane Iredale bb cream #7
Last three colors of the naked palette
Starting with the first two colors in the inner corner , and as I worked my way out to the outer edges I used the darker colors to create smokiness .
I used Victoria secret bronzer to Contour/ define my cheeks, Estée Lauder eyebrow pencil to refine the brows , and some nude lipstick mixed in with merlot lip liner

Church ready!

IMG_0419.JPG

Today’s dress was 40’s inspired . I’ve gotten away from this style of clothing for awhile to explore the bohemian side of things , but I felt that it was finally time to get back into it . The elegance and classiness of the 40s and 50s is what draws me in. I wore this to church this morning with a pair of off-white heels , pearl and diamond costume earrings and black cat eye glasses with gold and rhinestones .

Whether it be church , a business meeting , or work, this outfit is easy , comfortable and elegant . You cannot go wrong !

Dress – Goodwill
Earrings- forever21
Heels- Goodwill
Cat eye glasses – eBay

Such great finds , and amazing prices !
This entire outfit was under $20

Simple and easy ootd

This weekend I wore this outfit to work where I later was entertained by a good ole band called – Fox Hunt . I was struggling because I was scheduled to work all day and wanted something cute but simple . This outfit was just that.

Kimonos are lovely because there is such a variety out there – short, long, and color / pattern wise . They are great to throw on to really “spice up” a casual outfit . This kimono in particular is from Marshall’s . The tank top was from forever 21 , shorts from pacsun and black lace up boots from eBay. I’m all about comfort and simplicity is sometimes more , so I enjoy stocking up on cardigans / overthrows / kimonos etc..

Beach fashion

Hello lovelies !
Sorry for the lack of posting recently ; between school , work and my recent fitness journey , I haven’t dedicated much time to my blog ! Hoping to meet my posting goals per week !

Pictured above is myself this past week at myrtle beach! Before beach shopping, I mainly went to two places -Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. Between the two stores , you cannot beat that style , especially with the amazingly affordable prices !

This skirt was so sheer and perfect to keep me nice and cool in that insane heat; the creamy lace cropped top was also very light material , both articles of clothing very perfect for extreme temperatures !

The beach was a blessing to say the least. I am very grateful to be back home and continue on the path and journey that God has for my life ! I’ve missed you all! Xoxo

This past weekend was my sister Taylors Varsity Ball dance, and she looked so stunning in her bat sleeved black boho styled dress. I did a simple waved out look to match the style of her dress. I also added a cute 60’s look by adding a small braid and connecting the two in the back. Super easy, and super beautiful! This look was achieved by my favorite tool ever, the wand

Natural wave

Natural wave

Today I woke up and for ONCE was very pleased with my natural wave pattern . The longer my hair grows, the more the weight pulls down the curls and it is becoming more of a wavy look, and not to mention my natural red hair is finally starting to come back! The only products I used on my hair include a cheap sleek and shine conditioner. After showering , I always leave a little bit of conditioner in because my hair is so coarse.
